Dear Sister

I have been asked to answer your letter relating to my article on Chief Blue in the Church News. Your grandfather, John Alonzo Canty, was the first branch president of the Catawba Branch. Samuel T. Blue was made Branch president many years later. Brother Blue was president of the Branch during world war I and the Depression.

I am doing continued research on the Church's activities among the Catawba Indians and would be interested in any material relating to your own family. Please let mc know if you have any information that would be of interest to the Church and I will be glad to help you in any way.
