On Friday, June 30, 2000 I spoke with Mr. Michael Hagerty the US Attorney representing the BIA in the Judy Canty Martin vs. the BIA (Kevin Gover and Franklin Keel) Motion for a Temporary Injunction. Mr. Hagerty assured me that the BIA had just conveyed to him that the Final Catawba Membership Roll would require another five to six weeks of internal work before it would be in a publishable format for publication in the Federal Register.

On Monday, July 24, 2000, a mere three weeks after Mr. Hagerty's declarations the Final Catawba Membership Roll was published in the Federal Register.
